Mustard BBQ Sauce Recipe That You Will LOVE
This is a super easy bbq sauce to make. Plus, the chances are that you have most of the ingredients in your pantry already! This only takes around 20 minutes to make, yet tastes like it took hours to make. Goes great on my homemade popcorn chicken! Click the highlighted text for the recipe.
Ingredients:
3/4 c mustard
1/4 c maple syrup
1/4 c brown sugar
1 tsp molasses
2 tbs ketchup
1 tsp ea onion/garlic powder
2 tsp ea paprika/chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin
2 tbsp hot sauce
1/4 c apple cider vinegar
1 sprig fresh rosemary
Tools needed:
Measuring cups and spoons
Rubber spatula
Wire whisk
Medium stock pot
Stove top burner
How to make it:
Measure out all above ingredients and place into the stock pot. Mix thoroughly with wire whisk. Turn burner on to a medium heat stirring occasionally. Once the sauce has come to a boil, reduce heat to low to keep on a gentle simmer. Continue to simmer for about 10 minutes. Turn off heat and let sauce cool to room temperature.
Once cooled, place the bbq sauce in a mason jar or other glass container getting all sauce from the pot with a rubber spatula. No waste allowed! The glass keeps odors and previous flavors at bay.
Enjoy within 1 week. Goes perfectly on my homemade popcorn chicken recipe as a dunking sauce and or tossed in with the chicken. Click the highlighted text to grab the recipe and procedure!
