Honey Glazed Carrots, Easy Recipe
Ingredients:
6 Whole carrots ends trimmed and peeled
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp kosher salt
1 tsp black pepper, freshly cracked
1 sprigs fresh sage (rosemary works great too)
Tools needed:
Sharp knife
Cutting board
Vegetable peeler
Glass baking dish
Oven
How to make it:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit
Rinse, trim and peel carrots. Keep whole
Toss carrots with oil, salt and pepper in glass baking dish. Top with sage.
Bake for 30-40 minutes. Carrots are to be “al dente” when cooked appropriately.
Once carrots are cooked, to with honey, bake and additional 5-8 minutes to lightly caramelize the honey on the carrots.
Goes great with my Guinness braised short ribs recipe!
