Tools needed:
3 mixing bowls
1 stock pot with 1 qt water for double boiler
Whisk
Rubber spatula
9x9 baking pan
Flour sifter
Measuring cups/spoons
Procedure:
Melt the chocolate chips with butter and heavy cream. Add pinch fine sea salt and add in the vanilla extract. Mix gently until completely melted and remove from double boiler. Set aside to cool slightly.
Cream together the eggs, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Whisk until eggs become pale and creamy. Add sifted baking powder, cocoa powder and flour. Mix in to incorporate partially. Add cooled chocolate mixture, fold until incorporated thoroughly.
Use butter to grease the bottom and sides of baking pan. Cut parchment paper to fit in the pan. This makes it easier to remove brownies from pan after baking/cooling. Pour into a 9x9 pan or sheet pan
Drop in peanut butter in a decorative manner. Use a chop stick to swirl in the peanut butter
Bake 350 for 20-25 minutes. The center will be slightly jiggly when baked perfect.
