This Homemade Seasoned Salt Is So Amazing, I Keep It On Hand Always!
This is a super tasty homemade seasoned salt recipe that doesn’t have any fancy ingredients. Plus, it goes great on everything.
Ingredients:
1 c fine grain sea salt
2 tbsp each onion and garlic powder
3 tbsp each chili powder and paprika
1 tsp coriander
1/2 tsp toasted cumin
2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves, crushed
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp ground turmeric
1/2 tsp dried marjoram, crushed
Tools needed:
Mixing bowl
Wire whisk
Measuring cups and spoons
Mason jar with tight fitting lid
Funnel
How to make it:
This is a really simple recipe to bang out. Literally put all listed ingredients above in a mixing bowl, mix and store in a mason jar. I love this seasoned salt on everything. My favorites are on eggs, chicken, smoked pulled pork, smoked jerky, baked carrots and potatoes.
I recommend storing the seasoned salt in a mason jar with tight sealing lid to help keep the ingredients fresh and flavorful for longer. The better the spices and salt you use, the better your seasoned salt will be. This is best if used within 3-4 months, though it will stay good indefinitely. The flavors just will dull out over time. Don’t forget to label and date.
Try this on my grilled t-bone steak.
Enjoy!
